People have lost their ability to laugh at themselves. Gone are the days when if you did something a bit wrong or said something that came out wrong you would simply shrug and laugh it off. Now people get upset or angry. As if no one has ever made a funny mistake before and how dare anyone find it funny. No me I laugh at myself almost daily, if that makes me the village idiot then so be it. I would rather die with a smile on my face than a frown on my heart. Can you laugh at yourself?

So true...I do laugh at myself when i made mistakes,we all do and there's nothing wrong with it.No one's perfect anyway.Nice topic.

i believe that laughter IS the best medicine and we should all be willing and able to laugh at ourselves when we do something funny or stupid. laughter makes the world a better place to live!!

It's a matter of prospective I guess. I think the ability to laugh at yourself is part of having a good attitude. If you take yourself to seriously then the world will surly be laughing "at" you with every opportunity it's given. Thanks for your response
