Do you have several so-called "Bestfriends"?

i admit that i have several.. hmm.. 7 or 8 if i'm not mistaken.. of different people from different places..
juz wondring coz i have this friend whom whenever we talk about bestfriends.. she always asks me..
"why have several bestfriends!? now that you have many.. who will be the best bestfriend?"
She do have a bestfriend.. her only bestfriend since childhood.. and that's how she thinks of it on having a bestfriend.. since its BESTfriend that its called.. you should only have one..
now.. how about you..?
do you only have one BESTfriend..
or..
several bestfriends too?!
and how do you handle things if you have several? do you let them know that besides them there are still others that you call bestfriends!?

yah i have for about 10 of them, my so called "BEST FRIENDS" but i have one true best friends.. we've friends since childhood...

I have a few best friends. I know quite a few people who do believe you can only have ONE best friend. I really never understood that concept though. All of my BEST friends have their own personalities, so there's no way I can just pick one to me me VERY best friend.

same here.. that concept really bothers me..^^
but then.. i have to stick with what i have now.. several bestfriends whom i know i can lean on..^^

I am bestfriends with all my friends. They all know that I think of them as such and they all are bestfriends with each other. It's just one big group of best pals. :) Why just have one, when you can have several? Each person is gonna be different, and just because one friend may have a quality to them that you don't like. Doesn't mean that you can't still have the best time of your life with this person, or be able to confide in them when something is troubling you. having several bestfriend in my viewpoint means you'll have someone there for you no matter what.

also a bestfriend of all.. that's why whenever i'm with the girl i told you here.. she always brags me about who's really my bestfriend knowing that i have a lot of friends..
but then.. they're different in different ways.. maybe that's why we call them bestfriend..
they are the best of who they are..^^
