Friends with Asperger's syndrome?

Anybody have any friends with Asperger's syndrome? Any advice you'd give to that friend?
I have a friend with Asperger's and my doc is considering diagnosing me with it as well. I'm nervous and trying to cope.

My boyfriend is an Aspie and it's very difficult for me, especially when it comes to dealing with emotions.
My advice? Stop and take a minute or two every couple hours or at least once a day and tell someone how you're feeling. I think it's helped my boyfriend a lot.

Figuring out what I'm feeling at any particular poitn takes me out of my mindset of doing the things I obsess over so it often is put as far out of the way in my mind as possible. I think your advice would help my relationship with my husband at least. Over the years he's gotten pretty good at figuring me out but I'm sure that me showing more emotion would help. Thanks for the input!
