of course we all would say "it doesn't matter, as long as it's a healthy baby". but deep inside your heart, i know there's a desire of wanting a boy or a girl as your first-born. honestly, i've wanted a girl as my first. because i think that it's cuter, with all the cute clothes and accessories available. but then i had a boy, and i realized that it's better this way because baby boys are sweeter and closer to their mothers. so i have my boy all to me.=) how about you?

we always said that we'll be happy with either as long as the baby is healthy. but deep inside, we both wanted to have a baby girl. so you can just imagine how happy we were when our firstborn was a girl! :)

I wanted a girl because they say that a girl is easier to take care of. I figured that I would get my on-the-job as a parent with the "easier one". My husband said it didn't matter whether it was a boy or a girl, but I know he wanted a boy. Well, when I got pregnant, I KNEW my baby was a boy even before the ultrasound confirmed it. I'm very happy with my boy and I realized that, hey, it really doesn't matter! When we get pregnant, I really hope we get a girl so that I'll at least have 1 of each. But if it's another boy, we'll still be happy.

I'm one of those who will say "it doesnt matter as long as the baby is healthy and normal". For my first born, I didnt really specified a gender in my prayers, though hubby wants our first born to be a boy. But when God gave us an adorable baby girl, we were so happy and thankful that she's very normal despite being a pre-term (i had pre-eclampsia). Now that I'm 3 months pregnant again, we're really praying for a healthy & normal baby BOY!

We wanted to have a boy as our 1st born. When I got pregnant I had this strong feeling that it's boy. When I had my ultrasound we're so happy when the lady told us that we're having a baby boy. God granted our wish, we're so blessed. =)

We both wanted a GIRL! Praise God we did get a sweet girl. We wanted someone who we can depend on when we deal with the next kid. My hubby thought that a girl would be more responsible as a first born. Also, i think a girl is sweeter to both parents. And yes, the cute dresses and accessories. Its just like having a walking doll.

before i had kids i wanted two girls.id always wanted girls from being a little girl so i could buy all the pretty things.i couldnt imagine myself with boys.my first child was born on 12/12/97,a baby girl, bethany jade, she was the most beautiful thing i had ever seen.when i was pregnant the second time and i went for my scan and they told me it was a boy,im ashamed to say but i felt dissapointed, what on earth would i do with a boy.reece connor was born on 15/01/02 and when i saw him i felt exactly the same as i had done with beth,he is a beautiful loving child,a real hand full but i wouldnt send him back for anything.luke harry was born on 01/07/04 he is lifes biggest surprise and is the sweetest kid in the world.beth is my princess and the boys give the best cuddles.they all mean everything to me and i am truly blessed to have had both.

I Would Prefer A Girl Not That Iam Agnaist My Wife Or Future Lover Having A Boy . It Just That Girls Are More Behaved Then Boys . So I Would Prefer A Girl Over A Boy. I Like Boys But Girls Or Just Like I Said Before More Behaved And Then Tend To be Cleaner Too . So My Vote Goes To Girls

At first I was hoping to have a daughter as my 1st born but HE gave me a boy and realized that there's nothing really wrong having a boy as the 1st born. I am enjoying my son and realized that its not really important what your choice is the important thing is he was born healthy and now is growing up strong.

We always wanted a girl for our firstborn, and luckily, we had one. I think, my husband prayed hard for it to have a girl as firstborn. But when I got pregnant, I said to myself, it does not really matter to me it it were a girl or a boy as long as they are healthy and without any deformities. Most people say, that its always nice to have a girl as firstborn because she can look after her siblings, and will be much more responsible in taking care of the young ones as they say. But for me, either of the two, will be just be fine. It's just a matter on how the parents will raised their kids if ever.

Its so true that most of us will have pre-select gender in heart as per our first born expectations:)Me and my wife were hoping to get a baby girl for the first to have and it came out to be a cute baby boy:) And thus the saying come out....."It doesn't matter boy or girl as long as it was a healthy baby!".....

I didn't care if my first born was a boy or a girl as long as the baby is healthy.

I wanted a boy for my first child. I thought it would be great for my husband to have a son. I had a girl though. She was a cute and sweet little thing. As it turns out I am only able to have one child. My husband was very happy with girl. I loved dressing her up and now she is sixteen and she won't wear a dress. I still love her.

I didn't really care, but ended up with girls. After I had my first girl and became pregnant again, we actually didn't pick out a boys name lol...I have no idea why, but it didn't matter as we ended up having a girl :-) However, now the oldest is a teen and the second quite close and now I have to admit, that in the teen years, boys just might be that little bit easier lol :-D

I would love to have both - fraternal twins! Haha, but if I have to choose, I'd say I want a boy first. Boys are closer to their mothers and from what I hear, more independent than girls are (this is what my mom said when she compared my brother vs my sister and me) Not to mention the fact that I have an older brother and I think they're awesome (not always, be generally haha).
