Has anyone ever been "cured" of long term ringing in the ears? If so, how did you do it? I have had ringing in my ears as long as I can remember and have always told that there was nothing to do. Sometimes it is louder, and sometimes it is softer. Can you help?

The best way is to avoid the conditions that caused the problem and allow the ears to repair themselves... There is an article about your condition at the following link: http://naturalencylopedia.com/head-and-throat/ear/tinnitus.html I hope this is of some help to you, I used to suffer with this as a high school kid and I've gotten better without surgery, which has a low success rate... May Joy, Abundance, Peace and Good Health be with you and yours! :)

What is the pulse test? Thank you for the link. It sounds like a whole program to solve the problem. I have to go on a low-carb, low cholestrol diet anyway, so I'll just put in these items as well!!

The ringing is cause by ruptured ear canals, or something worng with how the brain interprets the signals. Both can be cured over time.

You have something called "tinnitis" certain medications can cause this and there are other causes. You should see your DR. for treatment because there are treatments. I hope you get rid of this very annoying ringing soon. Take care Rachael.
