i have just started learning java ..m finding quite interesting--like more than any other language that i know..even more than c++.. So i like to seek informations and openings with the various java certificates:-
SCJP
SCJD
SCWCD
SCBCD
SCDJWS
SCEA

SCJP(Sun Certified JAVA programmer will be the the first certifiate u will have to take in order to begin with JAVA certifications..SCJP covers Core JAVA topics , giving main focus on Garbage collection and Threading..Best books for SCJP cert. are by Kaithy Siera(SCJP cert.) and another by Khalid Mughal.
Exam is conducted online and will cost aroung 140$.Once you have cleared SCJP , you will be eligible for SCJD & SCJWCD certs for Web Developers
