Hello :) Try Opera its the fastest in browsers. www.opera.com IE, Firefox, Modzilla, etc.... among all these Opera is the fastest. I am using Opera for more than 5 years.

Strange, thats what I think. I am using Firefox right now but I wouldn't think it is twice as fast as internet explorer in terms of browsing. Firefox is intended for safe browsing and good interface not speed. Anyways, good that it has speeded up your internet!

It could be, but Opera is even faster. Nowadays I use mostly just Opera for web surfing.

I downloaded it a couple of months ago but don't use it because I was having more problems with it than the new IE. Maybe it was something that I did wrong, I don't know. I know that I hear from everyone how they like it and I don't understand why. For me it wasn't faster.

Actually a number of my friends have downloaded Firefox and are happy with it for a variety of reasons, but speed is not one of them that has been mentioned. However I will check with them to find out what they think. I am still using Internet Explorer and am more than happy with that because it does all the things that I want to do. There are times when something new and/or upgraded comes out and everyone rushes to instal it. Then later on they start to have problems, so I think I will wait and see what happens with this one. Also for me I will not get faster speed at all, simply because I am on dial-up and I have had the lines checked by the phone company technicians. I am currently getting the fast speed that is possible for the phone lines that come here. For me there is no choice but to have dial-up, because the area where we actually live is too far from the telephone exchange to get broadband, and satellite is far too expensive. So for me there is no advantage at the present time to download firefox. It is good that you are finding you now have a much faster speed than you did with internet explorer, and thanks for providing the information for everyone. :)

Until recently my computer was on Windows 98. For the last month with that operating system I had donwloaded firefox and loved it. It was faster, cleaner and without all those blasted error messages that explorer was giving me. Now that I have switched to XP, I have not yet reloaded firefox. Will see how well this works first.

I think so, I am using firefox and what I like aboit it is that it is safe for browsing, I like the tags which makes surfing more organized and easier. I think the speed will still have to depend on the internet connection.

I don't like Mozilla Firefox. Anywhere I go that has that, the first time I open a website it always says cannot be displayed. I'm happy with my Internet Explorer.

i agree!i am using firefox !i begin to use this after i joined mylot!it is simply amazing!i think it is the best browser now available.it is free also easy.here is my review on this product ---easy to use and download plugins.easy to update product. ---can be used as internet explorer by an extention called "ietab" so it is flexible ---allow tab browing(though opera and ie7 support tab browsing i like firefox for its simplicity) ---last but not least it has a feature of post data again when connection reset or want a refresh...so dont get irritated about typing again!

It is definitely better than IE, and was safer too for soemtime, but now I think that it is as prone to attacks, though has a lot less problems.

Even though I don't use it at home I agree with you when you say FireFox is way better than IE, not only because its faster but it's more secure too.

I agree wholeheartedly. Firefox is much better than IE. It also has proven to protect my computer better than IE, not to mention loading and holding capabilities. I can hold as many as 23 tabs in one window and work up to 6 other sites in tabs in a separate window. Firefox rocks!
