What crazy things have happened to you just at the worst times?

I was thinking about life's strange timing sometimes, because my best friend in the world's boyfriend is in the hospital today (on Valentine's Day, of all days) with a badly inflammed pancreas :( (Please, keep him in your thoughts and prayers... I'm worried, myself :/ ) What strange or crazy things have happened to you just at the worst or most ironic times?

Bingo - it will always time itself to start a week early or a week late right when I finally get myself onto a beach in Bali or Thailand

well, lets see...I seem to be going through a bad time right now. My daughter has scoliosis and has physical therapy 3 times a week. My eldest son seems to think he knows everything and no rules apply to him. My other son seems to think it is funny to do T!tty Twisters to other kids at school and now has in school suspension. My dog Bailey has revealed a leg condition that needs surgery and we can not afford it...at some point he will no longer be able to walk. And this past weekend, the last thing I needed to deal with was suffering Food Poisoning! Oh! And we just went through a storm that had 71 confirmed tornadoes.... Should I say more? I have not been having fun lately. I have seemed to hit a bit of bad luck. :( So, two months later...since my notifications have not been working for some time and mylot "says" they are working on it...I am sorry I am so late.

Oh, Brokentia!! I really hope that you are okay. Feel free to send me a personal message on here if you need to talk. It sounds like you and your family are going through a really rough time, and I'm so sorry to hear it. You are such a sweetheart. I hope that you are feeling better by the time you see this reply. I barely get on Mylot lately, but I just had to reply to this. I really am sorry, and I really hope that things improve, and soon!!!

Sorry to hear about your friend...Hope he is on the mend soon. Here is my crazy thing. My sons were out riding their bikes. It was the day before my birthday, July 29th. I got a call from the oldest of the two (oldest by 5 minutes) saying that his brother had fallen off his bike and the ambulance was coming. I asked where they were and was out the door in a flash. The drive took me all of 3 minutes. As I turned the corner I spied an ambulance. The medics were attending to my son who was on the side of the road. My other son ran to me. I directed him to load up the bikes into the back of the car. My son had been riding his bike when he got too close to the curb and fell. He had a compound fracture of the wrist. My head went spinning as I looked at him sitting on the side of the road holding his arm that now appeared to have 2 wrists. I fought back tears. They got him to the gurney and loaded him in the ambulance. His brother got into the car with me and we followed the ambulance to the hospital. The physician said that my son had to have surgery to repair the fracture. I called my mother to have her pick up my son. He of course wanted to stay with me and his brother. Because of the surgery and risk of infection, the doctor admitted my son and he had to spend the night in the hospital. I spent the night with him in a recliner chair in his room. The next day was my birthday. We celebrated in the hospital. He kept apologizing to me. I told him that there was no need. Accidents happen. He was released after 3 days. We had cake and ice cream to celebrate.

The strangest things that has ever happen was...I live in Virginia, me and my friends planned a weekend trip in Cincinati, Ohio..We drove all night long get in Ohio not even 25 minutes, and the hospital called to tell me my father had a heart attack... He is MUCH better now, thank god..But, right when he got there...We were about to check in the hotel and everything...Turned right back around and went back...I was going to take a plane, but my friends chose to go with me..I love them dearly for that...

Oh my gosh, Yanjiaren, I'm so sorry that you've had those awful things happen to you, and on Christmas and your birthday on top of that! I can't even imagine how awful it must be to have a broken back :( I really hope that you're feeling much better now, and I hope that no more bad luck finds its way to you for years and years, it sounds like you've had your fair share of it already and you sure don't deserve any more! ^_^ Thank you for the prayers for my friend's boyfriend, I really truly appreciate it! ^_^

I remember my very first menstrual period. What a timing! It came during my graduation when we (the highschool graduating class) were all wearing our white dresses. Since it's my very first period, I wasn't even aware of it. Thus, it stained my white dress with a very visible red spot! I freaked out because I thought I was bleeding from behind. My mom calmed me down. Now that I think about it, the timing was really crazy.

My worst things that happened to me in the year 2005, I was scammed the money from this address: drnelson.hatrop01@yahoo.com on Lottery winning, he swore that in the church, to ask me send the tax fee $850, then the next person ask me to send the transferring fee US$4,025, I said I didn’t have, and I didn’t send them again, and they stopped answering me. They made me paying debt, I am happy that I can pay it all. Later, I lost my mobile cell phone at the internet shop. I played the net I stood up and walked home. I came back on the next day, their children played with it and put it back, they said they didn’t find it.

After I had my first baby, I decided that I would never have another one. I used to say that there would be a star shining in the East the next time I would have a baby. Well, I became pregnant and my baby was due on the 1st January. On Christmas eve, I had just finished preparing everything for Christmas day, when I had to rush to the hospital. My baby was born half an hour later. I guess my prophecy came true after all. Hope you friends boyfriend is recovering and send him my best wishes.

My husband needed a total hip replacement a few years back. He had to schedule it during the summer as he is a college professor and didn't want to do it during the school year. The only time the surgeon had free happened to be the day of our wedding anniversay. After the surgery the surgeon comes to tell me that everything went splendidly and that my hubby is in the recovery room. An hour later a very red faced nurse from the recovery room appears to give me an update. She said, "Your husband is doing just fine. I understand it is your wedding anniversary." She said that my husband was back in the recovery room composing (outloud and for all the patients and staff's enjoyment) racy love poems and songs!!!!

It seems that relationship or traumatic crush problems always happen to me when I'm about to have finals. This happened last semester with my girlfriend (things have since mended and we've carried on together) and halfway through my sophomore year of high school. Not fun!

sorry to hear that hope he is okay- believe it or not my dog Boozer (passed away some years ago) had a pancreas infection when he was a puppy- later in life he ended up with diabetes, Please tell your friend to get as much info as possible about any future issues he might have, you need to be so careful with this type of illness. Crazy things are always happening for me, and when they start it like a domino effect. One time something came FedEx- now normally they just leave a note saying they will comeback, not this time- we just had a new cement patio put in our back yard and of all times for them to leave the package, the guy left it on our newly cemented patio, thankfully I found the box and removed it before it got stuck there and the guy who installed our patio had come back to check on it before going home.

I was in the Hospital a few times on special days and Holidays. You cannot avoid it at all. The main thing is that your friends boyfriend gets better. I will keep him in my special thoughts and prayers.

The year that I turned 11 my family planned a trip to DisneyLand for Christmas. My dad broke his foot 2 days before we left and we had to go because the tickets were non-refundable. We pushed him around in the wheelchair at DisneyLand and got on all the rides without having to wait in line, lol. Despite the fact that my dad had hurt himself, this was one of the best family trips we ever took.
