What would you say are your top ten favorite cooked foods? The reason why I am asking is that I am a raw fooder attempting to learn to cook for clients as a caregiver. One of my barriers to cross is that I don't have a complete understanding of what the rest of the world eats.

It depends on who you are cooking for. If it is the elderly they do not need a lot of salt pepper or seasonings it might make them sick. Simple foods are best and fried foods are bad for all. One of my favorites is ranch chicken. Placce boneless chicken in baking dish pour ranch dressing over it and put in oven for 40 mins at 350 degrees then bake a potato and have a green vegetable or salad. It is easy and takes about 405 mins to cook and serve.

Hmmm...not sure if these are my favorites, but if you are learning to "cook" these are good jumping off points that leave lots of room for creativity and can still be healthy: Pizza Hot Sandwiches (like Burgers of Chicken) Rice and stir-fry vegatables Pasta Soups/stews Chili Baked fish Roast Chicken (leftovers can be used for soups and stews) Baking (cakes and cookies) Roast Beef
