How do you feel about people lying to you?

I'm sure that no-one can put their hand up to say that they have never lied in their life. I can even understand that sometimes people lie in order to be nice to each other and sometimes that's a good thing.
But on a larger scale I hate people lying. If you've done something wrong then take responsibility rather than trying to wriggle your way out of it. Often you'll be found out anyway and if you lie to more than 1 person you then have all the trouble of remembering who you told what.
What I really hate is the people who will look you dead in the eye and still lie.
As an example, I teach and I recently found 4 boys in an out of bounds area and one was smoking. He threw the cigarette away and vehemently protested his innocence. I had to take him to the principal as per the rules. All the way there it was "I swear to god I wasn't smoking", "Why are you picking on me", "I didn't do anything", "I'm going to tell my parents your discriminating against me" etc etc etc. he kept this up non-stop.
I've met other people like this. Have you?

I absolutely dispise people who lie to me. If you can not man up and take responsibility, then do not do that action.
The only time you have to remember something, is when you lie.

yes me too also hate people telling lie. it really doesn't matter if u have done something wrong but at least you must have to be brave to admit it, am i right to said that? some people just too coward to admit when they r wrong n the worst part is they just push the blame to anyone else. that's really not the way n i hate people doing that.

I feel so bad when I find that people are lying to me especially if a close friend. I hate this. I would understand if he/she tells me the truth. But I could hardly forget if somebody lies to me.

I hate to be lied to and I try my level best to keep on the up and up with all. The thing that irritates me the most is when I get told it was a white lie. Come on give me a break. A lie is a lie and there is no such thing as a white lie. But that is my own opinion. I lose trust when someone lies to me. They can not be trusted in my eyes.

i really don't like people that lie a lot. and i dont think that its justifiable to lie in order to become a nice person. there are people that thinks that when they lie to us they can get away with the things that they are doing. i think it sucks. i think that we should be honest with our selves and with other people and start getting responsible with the effects that may come into the actions that we are doing.
