Why are my digital photograph files so huge while photos on other Web sites are

well.. u can always resize ur picture using some software such as adobe photoshop.. u can also set the size of ur picture from ur digicam.. i set it to 1280x800 which is quite ok.. anyway the bigger the pixel the more detail ur picture..

One of two reasons. 1. You don't have your settings right on your digital cam. You can set your image size to different levels, depending on your camera. For example, my cam was by default set to the largest setting, so I selected them to be email sized, which puts them at about 400 pixels instead of 2500 pixels. 2. Many of the images you see online have been resized in image editting programs.
