i think rahul dravid is the most successful captain in indian cricket .saurav ganguly is also a better captain .but he is not better than rahul dravid .in dravid captaincy, indian won alot of matches and also won so many cups .and also he have the chasing record .

Hi, to me, the most successful captain should be the one who had done what other captains have not been able to do before or after him. On that count, my vote is for KAPIL DEV for winning the only world cup for india so far, leading from the front right from the prelims till the finals. Other captains before and after him might have won more number of odis and test matches and might have contributed better with the bat, but nothing equals a single world cup win. Thank you.

I think its Sourav, but because of his captancy he lost his batting form, he was not made runs for atleast 2 years, now he is out of the captaincy and making runs
