Has something gone wrong with the friends' notification system here on MyLot?

wow thats weird- did you check your friends to see if the notify is still on? thats the only thing i can think of that it would be, contact mylot see what they say.

Relax Rosie, there was some kind of bug in the system and it obviously had to be sorted, so it affected us all, thankfully everything is up and running now and it was only a temporary glitch and the panic is over! Mylot were on the ball and quick to sort it, by now your inbox will be overflowing with your friends discussions etc...

This issue already fixed, you can check through discussions your friend started too, not have to waiting on notification mail. :)

Rosie there must be something wrong with it because I just saw another post about the same thing. She was saying she hadn't received anything since last night. I guess it's just a glitch that I'm sure Mylot is working on.

Rosie, like you, I made sure to check my spam folder on Gmail just to be safe, even though I have a filter set up in Gmail that's supposed to not only put a star by all incoming Mylot emails, but is also supposed to label them with a "Mylot" label. I was pretty sure that there was no way that it would be putting them into the spam folder suddenly, but I still checked, and nothing. And I too was not getting emails for a good part of yesterday. But they seem to be coming in in now, or at least they were for awhile, and hopefully they will continue to. I would really miss it if they ever stopped completely! I much, much prefer to reply from email notifications, because it's so much quicker to find good topics by having them come straight to my email box! ^_^
