Below the line is the e-mail I received would you forward it or whould you ignore it? Would you tell the person that sent it to stop sending you stuff like it? Do you find any truth in it? ________________________________________________________________ There is some truth to all of this.... Someone finally said it. How many are actually paying attention? There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, Native Americans, ect. And then there are just Americans. You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You call me "Whiteboy," "Cracker," "Honkey," "Whitey," "Caveman" and that's OK. But when I call you, ******, ****, **********, *****-******, ***** *******, ******, ****, or ***** you call me a racist. You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live? You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day. You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day. You have Yom Hashoah You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi You have the NAACP. You have BET. If we had WET (White Entertainment Television) we'd be racists. If we had a White Pride Day you would call us racists. If we had White History Month, we'd be racists. If we had any organization for only whites to "advance" our lives, we'd be racists. We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that?If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships, we'd be racists. There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US, yet if there were "White colleges" that would be a racist college. In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists. You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists. You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist. I am proud. But, you call me a racist. Why is it that only whites can be racists? There is nothing improper about this email.

I think that this is awesome. I copied it and am going to send it to a LOT of people. It gives food for thought to a lot of people, at least here in the U.S. There is so much media attention and so much political activity around racism and the rights of minorities these days, but there is never any mention of this reverse discrimination, which I definitely believe is real. The minority Rights groups in this country have taken things so far that the Whites are afraid to breathe for fear of being labelled as a racist. Yet it is a fact that these same groups can degrade us and discriminate against us all they want, and we wouldn't dare to argue.

I beleive this person does have some racism in him, and he may be correct on some things, but as for the black culture, what he doesn't understand is that we were stripped of our history. Many of us cannot tell you anything of our families past the slave era. This individual doesn't realize that although the things we have may have big names, they are small in comparison to those things that his race may and does have. Like the Presidency, and I could go on for more. At this time he is venting and really needs to be educated. I bet if he checks his family tree, he will find that he is not American. The only real Americans are the Native American Indians, and they have never had a President sit in office either.

Yes agree with you. I will have to say have traced mine and we have a mix in the wood pile my mom would say. I have native american in me on both my mom and dads side. People just need to be educated and if we really look at things and not color I think we all could get along. I don't understand what color has to do with things anyways. But then again it's like you said people need to be educated in every race and house hold.

I don't think everyone will find it offensive. It really isn't racist it is stating facts basically what is going on in the US. Do you live here? Have you seen what is going on? Now I wasn't raised racist and am not we were raised color doesn't matter. I never could understand why people would or could bring their kids up hating. But since I moved to the South there is a generation that still hates. Very sad

I am Canadian but we have the same everyday issues such as this. I have to say that i am an Aboriginal, treaty Indian or Native American which ever you prefer to refer to me as is alright with me! However this email does in fact make alot of sense to me and probably to alot of people. I d not think that it is racist i believe it is more of an opinion rather than racism! Good post and thank you for sharing this!!
