I have over 300 stories I have written and cannot paste

I am a writer, I love to write, it is part of me. I wanted to paste my valentine day stories, but it appears I have to rewrite them in order to do that. That is why too long, it just does not seem right to me. How the heck do I get a rating of 500? Will I have to be on this forum forever before that happens?

About a year has passed and now you have more than four thousand rating next to your name. Wow! Way to go. I have been here for a year now and I only got a thousand so far. I'm sure you have posted all your stories by now because you have way past the 500 ratings. I know you're a good writer. I always see your discussions getting lots of responses. You sure got the talent. Have a blessed day!

Unfortunately you can't cut and paste until you have reached 500 posts (the number you see in brackets beside your username) I know it can be a real pain. I had a problem one day where I'd write out the post which was long hit enter and it wouldn't take it so I'd have to do it again. I was under 500 so I couldn't cut and paste to save it. By the third time I gave up.

Seems to me they could be a little more tolerant than that. I understand they don't want spam but I am not pasting adds for viagara here. Not recognizing someone has painstakinly taken the time to write so much and not able to post it is a problem for me.

This site isn't for posting your stories, it's for discussion. There are plenty of sites where you can post anything you've already written.

unusualsuspect thanks for responding, actually all my stories are non fiction, and many can be turned into a great discussion in the form of comments. It has been done before.
