For me, my home is more than 50km away from my college, so I'd travel that distance whenever I go back. How about you?

When i was in my school and college i also used to do the same thing. I had to catch two busses and go to the college. I never felt tired although the college was very far away because i always used to have a lot of friends with me travelling the same distance. I enjoyed my college days a lot. I no more have to travel to any place regulary on a daily basis.

house - From house to office.
Before we live far around two kilometers from my office. I have to double ride to reach there. Last December we move near to my office because I already have a child. I don't want to miss him so atleast I can go home during lunch time. The distance is good about 300 meters. But we found out that for three months of our stay there that the place is too smelly. The smell of the canal and feces of the neighborhood is untolerable. Now, we move nearer and it is just about 50 meters from my office. So near that I can even see the house we are renting in our office. I can just walk for 2 minutes from the house to our log-in area.

I work about 40 miles from where I live. There are no decent jobs where I live, but the housing prices where the jobs are are outrageous. So I drive everyday. With these gas prices maybe I'm not coming out that far ahead when you factor in the time I spend on the road also.
