Why should the engagement ring be on the 4th finger???

they say that ther is some connection of the 4th finger and the heart..i things some nerve of something is connected...

I have never heard this before. That is intersting. You always have such information packed discussions. Thanks for that. I never had an engagement ring. We thought it would be best to use that money to help with our home that we would be needing.

I actually never knew why the fourth finger, I just knew that the left hand was because it was 'closer to the heart.' I've heard that there's a blood vessel in that finger that runs straight through your arm to the heart, but I don't think it's actually true.
