In my opinion this is really lame to me. When I lived w/my grandmother she told me not to put the used dental floss down the toilet saying that it will clog it. I couldn't believe my ears. This old woman is crazy. I think she was just trying to get under my skin. She just wanted something to nag about. Do you think that dental floss will clog the toilet?

I don't think that one strand of floss would clog the drain even though I usually put it in the trash can.

yes. hair can clog the toilet, especially if your plumming's old. so it's logical that dental floss can too. flush only what toilets are designed to flush if you don't want things coming back for return visits LOL

Yes I know hair can clog your plumbing not one strand of hair though. In order for it to clog it has to be many, strands of hair going down. In my opinion I don't think one strand of dental floss will clog the toilet. I have my own place know and I flush floss down the toilet all the time w/no problem.
