I have a diary I write about my son. I do not write it every day, I write only special moments. Funny situations. In this moment I am not at home, so I can not check this diary, but he said quite early "nana" to me. In hungarian we say "anya". I liked very much this nana. It so kind.

its up there with seeing my babys scan, and the moment i held them to me for the first time. The first time both my daughters acknowledged me in this way is an amazing moment. Its like you have a whole new status, your now a mom the most important job on earth

i'm trying to teach my 7 month old baby girl to say ma ma! i say it to her alot everyday and i let her watch my mouth really closely so she can see how my lips move but she doesnt' really seem too interested in making words yet, but she does mimic sounds. if she hears someone cough she will cough lol. i whisper to her alot because my husband sleeps in the day because he works at night and she makes whispers sounds now too its cute. almost like a little hisssss noise.

My baby is a year old and he's been saying "Dada" in English and Hebrew...and he's said his sister's name...but he ONCE said "mmmmaaaaaaammaaa" and that threw me into a state of...I can't describe it. I had to call everyone to tell them the news!
