Slient Hill - WARNING MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS

Did anyone really understand this movie?? I think I got at the end that the women and the child were dead but when did they die?? When the husband was on the bridge with the cop looking for them he said they found her jeep but it was empty, so where did the bodies go if they were dead?? Maybe someone out there has some further insight on this.

Sorry,but the only thing I remember about that movie, was it was the biggest waste of my time. It had to be the stupidest movie I have ever seen in my life. :)

I can't say that it was the dumbest but it was close. It was very hard to follow what the was going on. Did you see Decent? That was kinda the same way except I understood the ending of that one.

I was just as confused as you were so iasked a friend on mine..and hes pretty smart and undertsand everything i dont lol..so this is what he said.. The ending was a bit of a twist, but I, with some others, have understood it. They were all in purgatory, a condition or place in which the souls of those dying penitent are purified from venial sins, or undergo the temporal punishment that, after the guilt of mortal sin has been remitted, still remains to be endured by the sinner. They were all killed, but they believed they still lived. Only by dying, did they get sent to hell. However, since they truly believed this, the girl could not send them till she was able to get inside the building. After all of them were sent to hell, the mother and daughter could not leave because by all rights, if they were in pugatory, they were no longer alive and were spared from going to hell. They had to remain in pugatory hope i was some help!

I got all that but when did the girl and the mother die? I thought it was in the car accident but then why could the police and husband not find their bodies?
