wheels on vehicles

why is that the buses and trucks have four wheels on the rear side, where as cars and jeeps have only two on their rear side?

Very funny question. I want to ask u another. Why man has only 2 legs while animals have 4? Are animals heavier??? Sometimes u too walk on 4 legs, don't u? Hi Hi am just kidding mariner!!!

The engine is connected to the the rear wheels .i doono it may be the reason,or else if the front wheel brokes we can control the vehicle and if the rear wheels its very difficult and the control is on the fron wheel there for it must be thin to get more control.

Due to buses and trucks are carrying heavy load but car and jeeps are light weight vehicles.

if that is the case, why don't they have two pairs of wheels on the front side as well?

Because always heavy load will goes to back side and to control skidding or accidents.

This is to support heavy load. Trucks and buses are carring entire load on their back so the rear side have 4 wheels.
