I had an interesting Idea today about myLot and us the users and i wanted to know what you guys think of it. Mylot now has over 70,000 members to date now if each of those members picked a member of mylot at random do you think that through our websites and chat that we could make that person famous?. I think that it would be a great experiment to try 70,000 pushing one persons name all over the world could we between us create a superstar over night.

OMG that is a scary thought, but you know stranger things have happened. If you can get the massed behind something or someone anything is possible..interesting idea. :)

The main question is how would we promote that person to make them famous?

Promotion could be helped by people posting in other forums that they use, trying to avoid spamming. It would be good if people informed others that this person was already famous elsewhere (or becoming famous) instead of letting them know the true cause. As for the rest: A video on Youtube? A website? Some convincing photos of the person? With the number of people here there are definitely some people that can execute the internet publicity side of things

Never thought of that I suppose it would if you could ever find enough active member to all choose the same person which would be next to impossible unless they were getting paid for it.

Ah. What an interesting idea. I have some questions. How would we choose the one person? Would someone have to submit a request to be chosen? What would be the criteria to be chosen? Just some ideas. This could be a very interesting experiment.

Oooooh Yeah! I'm up for this. It would also be beneficial to mylot because of the media coverage, it would be sure to bring new users. I think its a very original and really good idea. Now how would we choose the person??
