Like many mylotians here, English is not my mother language and learning it is a continuous process for me. Mylotting is a good language learning opportunity for many of us and we can all learn from it. What are the most common errors in the use of english language that you notice here that may help those who are trying their best to improve their skills. You don't have to explain the grammar rules, just the correct or better way of saying it. I am only a student and not an expert so I can only see the obvious and simple ones. Here are some: "Is god exists" which should be said "Does God exist?" . Another one is the use of him and her. "him" is always masculine and can not be used to refer to a woman. Any interesting observation?

What is your primary language? Some people have trouble with a or an. They are not sure if they should use a or an. Like an apple s or a hedgehog. lol. A is for consonants like bcdfghjklmnpqrstvwxyz. An is for vowels a e i o u. There are always exceptions to this rule. But most of the time if you use a in front of a word beginning with a consonant you will be safe. An in front of a word with a vowel. A pig, A couch, an eel. an airplane.

My primary language is Filipino. That's a very interesting observation. Yes, that's a very common error and I see it a lot too. A astronaut, a account. Thank you. I also see that you are now way beyond your target of reaching 500. You're really doing great. Cheers.

Congratulations on your new job. There may be some people from the Philippines in your place. Filipinos are like chinese, you know, we are everywhere. I was told that there are more than 2 million Filipinos living in the states. 4 of them are my sisters who are all married to Americans. They are in Vegas, Arizona, Georgia and Washington.
