what do you think is Dr. Phill just talking out his butt, or does he know what he's doing?

I will probably get slammed for this but oh well...it is just my opinion guys and gals. I want to know what university in their right mind would give a degree to a moron like Dr. Phil. Is he a real doctor? A doctors hypocratic oath (even if they are a psychologist), includes, "first do no harm". My personal opinion of Dr. Phil is that he is a pompous arrogant man, that likes to hear his own voice. He doesn't know about real life or live in the "real" world, so he has no knowledge to tell others how to deal with their problems. He is also a blowhard. He will toot his own horn at any and every opportunity he gets. I think he hurts more people than he helps.

Im kinda torn between your opinion, and feeling like he maybe does make some sense.

Dr. Phil makes more sense than any other talk show host or self-help guru I have ever heard or read. He is a very smart, intelligent man. Millions of people watch and listen to him. Millions of people seek his advice either through his show, books or writing to him. Even people who are skeptical seek out his help. How can so many people be wrong? Would you rather take relationship advice from Dr. Phil or Jerry Springer? I'm for Dr. Phil all the way. He makes sense. What doesn't make sense is the way the people who seek his advice are living their lives. I have read some of his books and wish I could do what needs to be done because I know he is right. But it takes two to make a marriage great. Dr. Phil gives the best advice in the world.
