Some people are experts in giving unsolicited advice. How do you deal with them? Do you just smile and say thanks or do you sometimes answer back with your own opinion?

It depends on my relationship with them. If I know them really well I'll probably give them my opinion. I get quite annoyed when people i do not know start giving me advice about personal stuff, like about my health. Well, sometimes I think its ok - has to do with the way they do it. But people that just start, for no reason giving me advice I just ignore. I start talking about something else

I agree with you that it is really annoying to have people you hardly know give you an advice on personal matters. Some people do it for no reason at all. Sometimes it's best to just ignore them and talk about something else.

I can be a mouth piece at time and i also state my opinion if i think that they are adding too much un needed advice. There are alot of people like this that i have met and it can be a drag at times it all depends on my mood how i decide to respond!!

Yes, if I am in a bad mood, I may not find it easy to smile too. Chances are I might answer back and give my own opinion.
