My only brother is 4 1/2 years younger than I and tho he's now a grandfather of 10, he still is a pain in my older sister neck at times - LOL! My brother grew up learning impaired - he had a speech problem early on and also couldnt read too well for the longest time. He was good in other subjects, but still was called a "retard" until he was 10 because he had to go to a special school. I have many a fight in teh schoolyard when someone utered those words to me about my abay brother! At home wasnt much better, my father rejected him because of his learning disorder and called him a "dummy" quite often, which also infuriated me. I was the one to take him to Little League and root for himn during his games, taught him how to play basketball and played catch with him at home. I also tried to tutor him with homemade flash cards and "playing school with our othee sister. It didnt help he had 2 older sisters who got straight A's while he brought home a few bad notes on his report card. Eventually he outgrew the LD and was allowed back into regular school again. He did average work until he graduated, then went to a technical school to become a mechanic and auto body worker. Today he works for Coca Cola in their Augusta, Georgia plant as a service technician. He still plays jokes on me online and he is still A PAIN IN MY NECK!!! (LOL).

I have a brother that is 16 years younger then I am. Only a two year difference between him and my oldest child, my daughter. They grew up together, and are always together. My sister has a 13, and 6 year old, my brother is almost 11, then my kids are 9 and 4. Our kids are always hanging out together and are always all at one house or another. Hardly ever apart. it makes our family very close. They are like one giant family of siblings. It also makes my sister, my mother and myself very close. We are always hanging out.

I almost got another younger brother when I was 15. Sadly, he was stillborn, my mom had problems in her pregnancies with all of us and the poor guy became her only fatality. We named him Robert and many times I often wondered how Bobby would have turned out. He would have been raised with my own daughter who was born the year before him.

I only have one brother who is two years older than me. He is a professor in medical research and world renown in his field. It's coincidence that I also went into medical research - though I have a bachelor of science and no more. It's funny because I always did better than him at school and university - but once he did his Honours year (after the BSc) he shined! He is married with one son. We are very close though we don't see each other very often. He's always been there when I needed him!

It is so sad that kids like this get called names like dummy. Some people are just insensitive to others problems in life. I have 4 brothers and all of them are younger than me. I was the oldest of 6 children so I was the one who looked out for them. I always saw to it that nobody picked on them in school. I even got into a fight with a girl once who was picking on one of them. I sprained her wrist and had to sit in my seat for a week during my lunch. LOL I am vey close to my broters. We have a great relationship. I know that any time I need them, all I have to do is call them and even though they live an hour and a half away, they would be right there.

I am the oldest of 8 of us. I have 6 brothers after me and then a baby sister at the bottom. I grew up hating my brothers cause they always seemed to get away with everything and I had to do all of the work. My sister grew up and ended up pregnant when she was 17 by then I was living in Florida and my mother was asking me what to do about it and I was not there to know what was going on. I get along with her now and my brother don't really talk to them much at all but we get together every christmas. So yes at times they are still a pain in the neck like you say.

I have 5 brothers and at one time or another they were pain in the necks. But I do have to say that when it came to protecting me they were the tops. No one at school messed with me because they knew my brothers would take care of it. They were one younger than me and four older than me. It was great sometimes but other times I could have wrung their necks. I also have four sisters, five girls altogether counting myself.

I have six brothers and one sister all younger than me. They all were a pain in the neck to me and we still all are not very close to this day. We all kind of mind our own business. My sister is the youngest and I guess we spend the most time together than any of the rest of us. That is to bad but that is the way it is.

I have a brother, who is three years younger than me. I feel so lucky to have him because I won't be alone. We fought when we were in primary school. But we both forget now and he tells everything to me even some trivial issues . I am so glad that he thinks me to be someone who he can trust. I think I'm successful on this point. He can understand what I think and he seems a little mature than me in some parts for that I'm a little childish. I love him so much and I also thank my parents to give birth to us.

I have a brother who's 4 years younger than I am. I love him dearly. He's an achiever and I've always supported him with his decisions and with his studies. I miss him now that I'm married 'coz I don't get to see him anymore.
