War = Money When there is a war, thereis money to be made. Think of all the companies that benefit when a war starts; weapons, vehicles, clothing for the troops, those that make the packaged food rations ... that is just a few. I am not justifying war but it does tend to boos the economy in some cases. In every facet of life the innocents are usually the victims, no one would say that someone on the opposing side is a victim because they are the enemy. If women ran the world there wouldn't be any wars, we'd settling things at the mall over a large mocha venti frappuchino and scones. If things ever got to the point where there would be a battle, it wouldn't last long and it wouldn't involvoe billions of wasted dollars.

War is a way to make money period. Whether it is trying to take over another country, to gain oil, or a civil war. It all comes about on who is going to make money.

Presently, there is a lot of terrorism which is a type of war. Unfortunately there are people who bring on war for their own terroristic agenda. It doesn't matter what name terrorism hides under it is still the work of depraved, sick, murderers who USE religion or politics or whatever they want to use or call it to vent their misguided hate on the rest of the world.

I do not think that every conflict has to result in a war. Historically, however, wars have been used as strategies for national revenue generation by "developed nations". I like what one unknown author wrote about this issue: "War is terrorism by the rich, terrorism is war by the poor" - although I believe the author meant that FREEDOM FIGHTING is war by the poor.

A question of war arises only when the so called developed nations try to attain more power and money from countries whom they think can be a threat to their so called powerful position...

War should be outlawed and be erased in the vocabulary of today's world. But it is more of idealism that is a step away from reality. War has always been a part of man's history since time immemorial. Weapons change but the people don't. Troop soldiers are pawns of their generals and generals are servants of the higher ups who makes decisions to go to war, the politicians. People are being used and even more people are being killed as collateral damages in wars. Unfortunately, I don't see a day when wars will become a thing of the past for several reasons.

Wars will never end. Why? Because humanity as a whole will never be able to agree on anything. There will always be a difference of opinion between rival factions. And how do these differences get solved? Diplomatically at first, but we've all seen this method fail time and time again. And then what? War. It's been around since the beginning of civilization and will be here until the end. People are corrupt naturally, and the gaining of power only brings this out further in all of us. Leaders who start out looking out for the interests of the people they represent begin to look towards expanding their power and disposing of those who oppose. Unfortunately that's just the world we live in.

I prefer peace to war. If peace talks doesnt resolve the matter, war becomes inevitable.
