How many men pee sitting down? Is this pretty common?

I have an in-law who thinks that ALL men should pee sitting down. She feels that any man who stands up to pee is disgusting. LOL I don't know where she got that idea from, but it sounds somewhat bizarre, IMO. That's just what men do!
But, not all!
I know some who actually need to sit down to pee, or else they get urine everywhere. Like those who have piercings there. I also know that sometimes if a man is already sitting down for other kinds of "business", perhaps it is just easier to keep sitting while they pee.
I'm curious to hear from you men if you do this? Always? Sometimes? Under certain circumstances? And to women.. what do you think about it?

Well, unless you can see into stalls and know who is doing what, don't men's restrooms typically have urinals that are out in the open? Not toilets?

My boyfriend pee sitting down. Most of his freinds do to. they were told by their teacher in grade school to do so. she did not want to have to clean up after them, she said. Almost all of them have continued to pee sitting down.
i am very grateful to this teacher! makes keeping the bathroom clean much easier! It's less messy, it's less smelly. it's great I think!
if I ever have a boy I'll teach him to pee sitting down!

I taught my son to pee this way, since that's how his father often does it. LOL

My husband pee's sitting down, I don't even remember his reason for starting to pee that way. But I have gotten use to it, at first I thought it was totally weird, but whatever! He isn't missing the toilet and making a mess for me to clean up =)

i pee siting down , and i learn my son 5 years old to pee sitting down
