What do you do?

When someone makes a rude comment or response? Do you counterattack or just let it go? I'm a stubborn person, so I defend myself to the bitter end lol.

I am a stubborn person also, and I have to fight the urge to "counter attack"! I hate it when someone leaves a comment that is just plain ignorant and rude, but I hate myself even more if I react emotionally instead of taking the time to calm down and compose a well thought-out response back to them. I will defend my views to the end, also, but I try to do it in a mature way that will end up making the ignorant person look even more ignorant! It's OK to "counter attack" if it's done in a mature and classy way!

so true! In real life (you know, not the internet but physical human to human), I always come up with some witty thing to say days after the fact.

Honestly it depends on my mood and the topic. Sometimes it just isn't going to be fun. LOL I do have the tendency to defend myself!

so will I I use to not but now if someone does it like a rude cashier I tell them about theirselfs . It takes me awhile to put up grociers and write out a check I have ms. I can't help being slow I know I look young but my body drags.
