My dog love brussel sprouts. She wont eat many other veggies but we give her food to try all the time. What human food does your dog eat that you didn't expect them to like?

Every time I decide to make a veggie platter as a healthy snack late at night or even during the day. My puppy will see that I have carrots on my platter & will nuzzle her head on my lap. And will expect me to give her some carrots. I will give her one & she will come back wanting more each & every time. I would have never expected a puppy to love carrots as much as our little bundle of joy does. I know that her dog food consists of carrots being in it. But I would have never thought she'd like carrots outside of eating her dog food. I've heard though that carrots are good for dogs so I suppose it's a good thing that she enjoys them as much as she does. It's just rather surprising for me as I've had pets in the past & they never liked these types of foods like our little puppy that we have at this moment does. Another thing that she quite enjoys is spaghetti noodles with nothing on them. There have been a few times when I've served dinner & a few strings of spaghetti have accidentally landed on the floor. And here comes mine & my other half's little bundle of joy trying to make her way towards those spaghetti noodles laying there. Each time we have spaghetti she always wants to have a noodle or two. And she just loves spaghetti noodles! I have never seen a puppy like spaghetti noodles as much as our little one. It kind of surprises me & it's unexpected to see her want some of our spaghetti when I make it for dinner. It's quite cute to watch her eat it as well. She looks funny, yet cute all at the same time. It's sweet. haha. From observing our dog more than anything she loves to eat vegetables. I know that fresh vegetables are good for a dog as I have asked my vet. But before in the past I had dogs & they wouldn't dare want a piece of the vegetables I may have on my plate at the time. So seeing our puppy that we currently have enjoy vegetables as much as she does seems to still surprise me to this very day. She sure does love them though. But like I had stated above her favorite vegetable would have to be of course carrots. Hearing her eat them in her mouth is hilarious. All you can hear is a crunching noise & her mouth goes all silly as she tries to eat the carrot. haha. I can just picture her doing this in my head & it makes me giggle some-what. Our dog also quite enjoys eating seedless apples as well. I've also asked about these & have been told that they are okay for her to eat. Thank goodness! Because each time I have an apple she always seems to want a little slice. She'll eat a little bit though & suck the juice out of them & then will walk away from them. Yet she will come back wanting more & will do the same thing all over again. The only thing is having to clean up after her isn't all to fun.. But I rather clean up after her instead of ending up stepping on the apples she had left everywhere. As this has happened to me before in the past. haha. In conclusion.. The things that I have listed above are the foods that our puppy tends to enjoy, as well as eat. And that end up surprising me because it is something that I didn't expect to see! . . Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

My wire fox terrier will eat just about anything. Strangely he doesn't like beans. We gave him a bit of chili one night that my daughter didn't finish. He licked his bowl clean but left each bean! We do have a problem. In the summers when we have a garden outdoors, he goes to the garden and picks the little green tomatoes off the vine and eats them. Just the other day (it is currently winter here) the vet told us that we need to fence the garden in because tomatoes (and many other garden plants) are toxic to dogs!!

I gave my dog a couple of cooked carrots this evening. I was surprised he ate them. Maybe it was because I told him they would be good for his eyes, lol.

My Springer Spaniel loves fresh broccali. I raise canaries and when I'm putting it in their cages, he constantly follows me and begs for it. What's even more strange, both my Springer and my Rhodesian Ridgeback like to eat paper! I can't leave any paper within reach, as I've lost bills, dollar bills, mail, etc. My Springer has even learned to pull the zipper open on my briefcase pocket and help himself to my work papers!

I had one dog who would do nearly anything for pepsi. I tried other sodas the dog wouldn't touch them, including diet pepsi. I did taste tests with different sodas in matching bowls, the dog only drank the pepsi, and not from any other bowls.
