I think that first of all you should check your computer for spyware because there are those keyloggers that are transmitted through the internet, and they are installed in a stealthy mode so you don't even know about them. Some anti viruses don't even find them. When you write in your account detalis, the keylogger automatically logs your keypress and the information could be sent to the hacker. Now that he knows your account information it's easy for him to acces your account. Both Paypal and E-gold have thight security so I guess it's more important to find a way to protect your computer than your account.

I think the best way is to find a very good spyware sweeper that is kind of annoying because it will ask you about anything tht comes to your computer from the internet, but that is the price you'll have to pay for some extra security

Other from the long, strong password and change your password every month or something. Did u install Firewall or use anti-spy software for scanning your computer? Hacked been twice, I guess your computer is under someone control. To avoid this, don't visit some dangerous sites like warez without firewall's protection. Or remit money to real bank account lol

many factors from hacked paypal or egold coming from spy installed programs in your computer or phising mail contains fake link. you should watching be carefully on this 2 problems. always check your computer with antivirus antispyware and other thing for your computer security, make a strong password combination word and number at least more than 10 character and change it every time you login. never share your email that you are using for paypal or egold to anyone.

i just can give you two precautions steps 1.never respond to a fake paypal or e-gold employee's email.and how can you judge it just go through these sites legals 2.Most important never copy and paste your passwords in any box cause there is lots of spyware that can track your password and send it to another person.if do not believe the copy any thing and type "clipbrd" in run box(WINDOW KEY+R).

Don't save any of your login details on your computer/laptop in a text or word document, as these hackers have programs that search for folders. Example: They enter "password" or "login" and search certain IP's etc and can then get into your computer some how and get you login details for what ever you have saved on your computer. So if you have email account, bank passwords, paypal passwords all saved on your computer, they can get at them and then login using all your details.
