why do you click on start to exit microsoft windows??

I think start is just like a menu. It's to start doing something idk. I don't think it's just for starting programs, just what they decided to put there to signify Menu.

Your right in there. Its synonymous to menu. Actually there are a lot of computer terms that seem to be illogical in the English grammar.

i had never press start to shutdown windows. i normally press the power button to shutdown... haha
