Are reality Tv show overrated?

i watch big brother when it's on, religiously. i also watch survivor.

i really enjoy reality shows...

They're just not that real,lol. I think MTV's very first season of Real World was the best of these,it all went straight downhill from there.People prepared to be on camera, are not going to be very real.We'd probably be bored off the face of the planet if they were, and i don't think that's be so bad!

For the most part I never cared for them. There were one or two on the off channels that were interesting but for the most part they just seemed like big popularity contests. It wasn't a reality in my opinion. I find them very boring and have from the beginning. I'd like to see them off the air.

I like the shows with a point like Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Home Do I Look?, and Clean House. I also like Food Network Shows, such as Challenge or Dinner Impossible. I never watch the rest of them.

I used to watch Reality TV but not now. You are right about the over rating stuff.

I really have no use for reality television. I have watched a couple of cooking shows, but stopped watching them. Shows like Surviver or Big Brother are a waste of time. There is no thrill in it for me. There are many that watch them or the shows wouldn't return season after season.

i dont think that the reality tv shows are overrated. i love watching big brother. this is because i can understand the basic human nature as to how one adjusts to given circumstances. There it doesnt matter if he is a celeb or a common man. it also interests people coz people love peeping inside a broken window!
