I was only vaguely aware of the previous series, and more by reputation than anything else, but I'm quite enjoying the current series, which is being run in Canada on CBC, though severl weeks behind the original BBC broadcasts. It's been a hoot so far, though I hear that the Doctor, as played by Christopher Eccleston, will soon be replaced with a new Doctor, and I'm not sure how that will play out. Have you seen past the change over Tim?

I've been following it. It's changed a bit, of course - for one thing the Tardis interior's redesigned and has a rough heavy-industry look. It's gone on to 45-minute episodes, one or two to a storyline. And the Doc's wearing regular modern-day street-clothes for a change, no frills or floppy hats. But I think it's going pretty well. The current "Empty Child" story feels like the best so far, going between high-spirited fun and utter nightmare.

No. But then again, I've never seen the old Dr. Who either
