have you ever suffered because of your lawyer

has any one of you ever suffered at the hands of your mass tort lawyers.i had read in an recent article that the mass tort lawyers are rarely concerned about the clients.they just dont care what is the state of the client and scoop off the of the settlement.in my country it i not that severe but it happens a great deal in the us.have you ever suffered at their hands or do you know anything about it?

Only once I came in contact with a lawyer relating to a case in High Court. I was President of Officers Association in the organization where I worked. The Government transferred me to another city. My association went to court against the transfer. For six months the case went on. During these six months, I witnessed a very sad state of judiciary in India. Our lawyer was a very nice person. He did his best but we lost the case. He advised us to approach Supreme Court but I refused. I have seen naked manipulation of law, no integrity in lawyers and judges, cheating and counter-cheating. Now I feel that judiciary is 40% responsible for rise in crime in India.

I do not know this particular category of lawyers but I have suffered at the hands of my lawyer.He sided with my husband and was damaging my case against him till I dismissed him!
