I don't see why mylot would deduct earnings if you don't submit tags. I recently read another topic stating that submitting tags will increase your earnings...just don't know by how much.
The star rating is influenced by those who rate you in their discussions. It has no effect on your earnings whatsoever.

does this mean that if they put a - rating,will have deductions as wel?how do you see who rate us?i've got so many questions in my mind but might as well learn from my experience here at mylot,i kinda enjoy having shoetchit chats with all of you here in mylot.

Its better to tag your discussion because it helps organising your discussions. Its better to do that because no one knows how your star-rating increases or decreases. Its always better to be safe. I never used to tag discussions earlier my star rating has been stuck to two.

tagging has a connection with our rating? you think so?i always so to it now that i tag my discussions for the mylotians to easily located my discussions.

It could affect your earnings since those tags help others to find your discussions. Points I am not sure about. The points should be the number of posts/responses you have done. That would be the way see what they are paying you for your participation. Points are normally deducted from discussions being removed. Or your double responses..those are deleted in time. Hope that this gives you an idea!

I tag all of my discussions. I'm not sure if we actually have to or not. Alot of people say we do need to tag or mylot will deduct our earnings. I have no clue really because all of mine get tagged by me. I honestly think it does help our earnings and our star system by tagging. You may want to try it and see if your earnings or star rating changes. Good luck and best wishes with it.

i do it most of the time but sometimes when i am on the verge of posting another discussion,i forget to put a tag on my post.but i'll see to it this time to put tags so minewill be organized.
