I'm extremely embarrassed by this story. I recently found out why I was suffering from being sick, I'm pregnant. At the end of January I threw up all over my carpet in my bedroom. I cleaned it all up and washed everything from top to bottom. Today my mom came to visit and she told me my room still smells like vomit... I don't know how to get the smell out! I had the carpet cleaned two weeks ago and it's still here... Does and one have any suggestions???

spritz vinegar and water solution all over the area. wait a couple of hours and do it again. it will nutralize the acid in the vomit that still lingers. it must be in the carpet fibers. then sprinkle with baking soda. good luck.,, and congratulations!!

Thank you meme. I've tried the frebreeze, but it doesn't last very long. I just bought some carpet banking soda. Keeping my fingers crossed

Aw poor you, lol. I would try using baking soda. It seems to work really well as a cleaner and it's great at taking odors out. Just sprinkle some on and leave it for awhile then vacumn it. If this doesn't work, then I'd try making a paste with baking soda and water and scrubbing it. Good luck. That's a terrible smell and I hope you can get rid of it.

i suggest cleaning it with water and spray some fabric conditioner (they usually have some good strong smell that lasts) then hang it out under the sun... let the natural air breathe on your carpet and take the smell away...
