My girls did that too. In fact, my youngest had Lion King totally memorized! It was her favorite movie. If she was being fussy or cranky, all I had to do was put that movie in and she shut up immediately! lol! She also loved Toy Story. She used to have a little Woody doll and when the movie would start, she'd take her Woody doll and make him fly down the banister and do all the same things that Woody did!

Yep, my 3 year old always does this. He will pick one movie that he really likes and that's ALL he wants to watch for a week or 2. I'll try to suggest other movies for him to watch but he will stick with that same one every day, lol!...Usually his favorite is Cars, but the last few days it has been the fox and the hound 2.

we just watched the fox and the hound last night. my daughter was never like this until about 2 weeks ago. she has about 40 movies and never wanted to watch any of them. she'd say i allready saw that one. so it's funny now all of a sudden she doesn't care that she allready saw it.

Jayden will be 5 in May. She is currently going through a Mary Poppins phase. My son James is now 8. He loves his Transformers cartoons. Over and over. I'm sure Jayden has watched Mary Poppins at least 10 times in the last 2 weeks. I'm not liking Mary very much right now, however, I can think of a lot worse things for her wanting to be watching so I tolerate it. And I limit the kids' t.v. time so much that if they want to spend what little time they get watching the same thing over and over again, so be it.

I think this is normal. My daughter had a certain barney tape that she liked when she was five and she watched it every day. Now that she is sixteen she likes Buffy the Vampire Slayer the television series so I bought her all the seasons. she will sit and watch the tapes over and over again. I myself have favorite movies that I myself watch over and over again.

Yes, my kids even if they are already grownups they watch the same movies over and over again. They like twister and they watch the whole movie. Although we don't have many choices because Time Warner cable keeps showing the same movies over and over again.

Yes, my 4 year old has been doing this for awhile now. He picks a movie of the week and watches it all day long, every day for a whole week. It is always Disney movies, which is fine, because I like them also. But I even mention another one, and he doesn't want to watch what I suggest.
