removal of seat

i need to know how to remove a seat from a 2001 v-star yamaha bike.

Dear friend, I feel it would be better to consult the Yamaha authorised workshops. Even a good motor mechanic could remove the seat. But if the service period is not over may be the authorised yamaha showroom or workshops would be better suggested.
