I feel like I will never get pregnant. We have been trying for 6 months already. We tried 13 months for my first daughter, 3 months for my first son, 13 months for my 2nd daughter, and 5 months for my last son.

I feel the same way. It took about 4 years for our first son, about 2 years for our second son, then another 5 years for our third (unfortunately I miscarried at around a month). We have been trying since then which is an additional 11 months.

I think it is great that you love kids and want to have more. It looks like getting pregnant for you varies. Maybe it is time to go and discuss your situation with your OB/GYN - he can possibly give you some other suggestions or run any necessary test, etc.. However, I really think that if you and your husband try taking focus off getting pregnant, it will happen for you. You sound like a good mother/person - so good will come your way. You and your husband should get a babysitter, plan a special date (something you both enjoy - even if it is going to the movies), relax, enjoy each other company and keep trying. Before you know it - you will be carrying the baby you desire. Blessings to you and your family

I know what you are going through and I wish I had an answer. We have been trying for 14 months.

Do you chart and take your temp? I suggest doing that if you want to pinpoint an ovulation date. Sometimes it just takes people longer than others. Some people I know have been trying for years. Some tried one time. We were lucky and it didn't take long with our first two. I pray that it's that way next time. Anyway, I think charting is the best way to really know your body and see what's going on. I didn't use it either time but I do use it to avoid and it's worked.
