My friend in Australia has started a business importing and exporting frozen semen for dog breeders. This all started years ago when he had frozen semen from an American champion setter injected into one of his highly regarded female dish licker's, I'm not allowed to say the word for a female dog, it violates myLot's terms of use!! The resultant pup became Australian champion, and now has been shipped to the States for breeding. What are your thoughts on this type of breeding. For the record he has been breeding greyhounds for the twenty odd years I have known him, and his wife is a vet.

I am not supporting businesses like this. Why people keep breeding dogs, when millions of dogs are killed every year. People should adopt dogs first; I can't believe that vet is doing it. Means she doesn't really care about animals.

You shouldn't judge people on one aspect of their life. The same people take in homeless, unwanted and sick animals. Often when unwanted animals are bought to the clinic, they are taken home, where new loving owners are found. They have been breeding dogs for over twenty years, this is just a new concept.

Hey that's understandable. To be honest I find animals easier to love than a lot of humans. When I met my wife tens years ago she didn't like dogs. How times change, we lost our two 'big boys' to a poisoner last year, and really are just getting ready to replace them. Now, my wife can't live without her 'babies' and we are looking for new pups now.
