What is the best herbal medicine for diabetes? / myLot

My father is a diabetic one,and we consider herbal medicines as other remedy..he had tried already the banaba leaves and ampalaya..is there any other herbal medicine that can reduce blood sugar?please give some info.

I am very impressed to see so much knowledge about herbs and alternative helpers. I have heard that Omega3 also is efficient so if you can buy some cold water fish, eat at least three or four meals a week, or take cold pressed fish oil and cold pressed vegetable oils. yes my father is using that OMEGA3,but that cold water fish is not,thanks for the information..i'll tell my dad.

sahira use fenugreek seeds. in india the best aurvedic medicine is ZIABATEEN powder which is available at hyderabad india.

Bitter melon which is widely cultivated in asia,africa and south america has been extensively used in the treatment of diabetes.Onion and Garlic have a significant blood sugar lowering action and can be very helpful in the treatment of diabetes!Fenugreek,blue berry,cinnamon also goes a long way in treating Diabetes!Hope these herbal remedies are helpful to you!

My mother also got a very cronic diabetic. she had to take insulin every day, twice a day. My sister recommended her Gamat (Sea Cucumber). After she taking the gamat two weeks, now she feel better and the sugar level decrease.

I see,we two kind of cucumber here in our place.the whit one with big sizes and small sizes color gree..i think any kind of cucumber will for they are just the same.

All I know that good herbal medicine for diabetes is bitter melon because it can give our body insulin that can help to minimize the sugar level in our blood. Juts always give her that food and avoid sweets. My grandmother also have diabetes. She only have few list of food that allow for her to eat. We always give her fruits but not sweet fruits. Don't give him cupcakes any kind of sweets. We also don't give my grandmother rice for her meals only bread and fruits.
