And it drives me crazy becouse of those women who are spreading the world that "women are above men".I mean...grow up and get real!Equals?yes...Above?no!And what bothers me most of all is that you find in the feminist movement women who don't have a reason to complain about men(since they don't even had one relashionship in their entire life!!!!).Is it really necessary to hide behind "feminism" if you have some big issues (and some of them becouse one man turned you down once)? And guess what...men aren't the misogynists anymore.Feminists are.

Well, if you think feminists are vindictive women mistreated by a man I understand why they drive you crazy. We are nowhere near equal rights and conditions for men and women in the world today. i think it is scary that so many people think otherwise. If there is one thing I think is worth figting for it is equal rights and oportunities for all; men and women, black and white, between people of different religions and cultures.

yes it's worth fighting for...but what's the use for exaggerating with it?

I'm not for exagerating it. To go too far the other way would be discriminating against men, and that is no better than discriminating against women.

i was speaking generaly "why exaggerating"?I did not say that you were exaggering with what you're telling. I only said that it's a waste of time and energy to annoy (equally men and women) with some ideas like the one i said it earlier(the "you should kiss the earth i walk on" thing). Come to think of it...radical feminists did not achieve anything except annoy instead of shutting up and let the other women achieve lots of other things by being WOMEN(a human with respect for the other one and herself, etc etc). No man is asking women to become a somewhat "military force " and chop all the men down. You got more respect by proving that you are able to do the same things as a man(and in so many cases even better). i sincerely hope that i am not being misunderstood here :)

well man and women are equal. but some women think that we still have a problem with them and we think little of them. that's not true. get over it. if you are frustrated that don't mean you are right. they want to prove to the world they are just as good as men. go for it. no one is stopping them.

First of all, hon, what you have described is not the M.O. of a true feminist but rather that of a man hater. Baby, I am a true feminist. I believe that we are all equal in the eyes of God and one another. That I cannot make another woman pregnant is nothing more to me than biology. I have never thought of myself as being above or better than anyone. The feminist "movement" was a long time ago, kiddo, and these days there is a much softer side of it all. True feminism embraces not only equality, but also individuality, change and the most important part, at least to me, change. Feminists embrace change and choice. Choice is a big deal to women who feel that even as we cannot impregnate our best girl friends, we have the ability and the right to pilot airplanes, own businesses, become multi billionaires and do as the boys do. What I see in your post, though, is a very uninformed young person who has equated "feminism" with "man-hating". I cannot speak for anyone else, but I can say that I LOVE men. They are fun to look at and make some of the best friends...and the gay ones are loads of fun to shop with! That you would attack feminists smacks of your efforts at trying to start a gender war. I would put my money on the women. Men fight to show off, to protect their damsels in distress, to mark themselves as the leader of the proverbial pride and the king of the mountain. But women? We fight to kill. Not hurt. Not scratch. K-I-L-L Maybe the problem is not the "feminists" you despise so much but that you do not understand what you are talking about, huh?

first "hon" i think i know what i'm talking about. If it was a long time ago "granny" then why am i still feeling it alive today like it's ressurecting from the grave (at least in europe that is). What would you feel about men getting toghether and "make" a "comunity" ? , wouldn't that be hilarious?Well "man-hating" is used by those "feminist" ;teach your "specie" more better than not to use the term of feminism...but to use the other one.I also beleive in the equality of both genders...and ps...who's talking small here? You give examples exactly form your country...that ain't so general...get out more and see the world.Or just try NOT to assume different things about persons who you don't know...cheers

Oh...PS : this little message might come as a shock to you..so try to grab a chair.I've made a deal with my girlfriend to start this topic and SPEAK HER OWN MIND HERE...it was a little test "hon" that you've just failed with your assumptions that went very wrong.Yeah we're young but we can prove that being old is NOT a criteria to be more smarter. You say one thing then another....you might not be a feminist (man-hater in this case) but you sure endulge into it.Oh and man kill more efficient ...we started the "war" term remember? Do not underestimate a person ,based on "water bubbles".

interesting discussion, some women are like that infact quite a lot of women are but then your a guy and your posting this that would be classed as being sexist in my opinion if it were a woman posting the same thing it would be a different story. of course you dont have to agree with my opinion or care about it but i have replied in my own words.

I'm a feminist myself, but a moderate one. I really truly believe in equal rights, not "women are better". The people that really annoy me are the "feminists" who go around talking about equal treatment and then whine about men not opening doors for them or whatever. I'm sorry, ladies, if we expect to be on equal footing with men, we can't expect to be pampered all the time. It doesn't work that way. I do believe that the feminist movement still has a long way to go in getting equal rights for women. Women still don't, as a whole, make as much money as men doing the same jobs. Women who do choose to go into male-dominated careers are still subject to a lot of harassment. I'm not sure how you can say that any woman has never had a relationship with a man in their life. Even if they weren't romantically involved with a man, did they not having fathers or brothers or other male relatives? Male teachers, male friends? It's impossible to go through life in contact with only people of your own gender, so you might want to rethink the idea that women have no experiences with men just because they haven't been romantically involved with any. I grew up being abused by men, so it was pretty hard to get it through my head that all men weren't like that. I did, though, and other people can too.

I grew up with a mother who tried hard to make me into something and someone I was not. She favored frilly pink dresses and mary jane shoes, while I favored Levis and checkerboard Vans shoes, a tshirt and fences to climb. That the original poster would assume that feminists never have relationships with men is telling of how closed minded society is still in this day and age

Thank you for sharing your thoughts here.Your ideas of the "feminist movement" are very accurate and well i like your opinion. They might have all of that "male" but if they were treated nice i think it would end up the same. All atention on me...i'm a little spoiled princess who demands it..it think you got the point.
