You can get them out with any of the commercial cleaning solutions but if someone has the habit of smoking in your house, you will only have a frustrating time doing this over and over again. The only true solution would be to ask the person causing your smoke smell problem to stop smoking.

if you've used a lot of solution already, you may now need to have your furniture professionally cleaned. you may also try sprinkling some baking soda into it, let it sit for 15 minutes before vacuuming it off. and yes, i think, you need to have a serious talk with your mom to stop smoking. besides it being a health hazzard, her smoking will keep on making your furniture smell really bad.

nicotine needs some moisture all the time... In a humid atmosphere, it will become a little more sticky and sticks to what ever it gets to... That is the reason why we have dirty teeth... The stinking will not go normally... I purchased a little ozone machine which will remove the stinkiness without a trace... It really works...

About a year ago I purchased an item from a company called Ecoquest. It's a air purifier. I've had other brands in the past and been in many home with other brands and I make no money from recommend this product but I personally believe that this is the best one on the market hands down. My wifes mother is allergic to almost anything you can name Flowers, plants, pets etc, Now that we have this Living Air Product from Ecoquest she NEVER gets stuffed up in our home anymore. As far as the smoke out of the walls, Ecoquest also sells a line of envornimental friendly cleaning products. Using the Living Air Products takes ALL odors out of your home, even cooking odors quickly. The air purifier is expensive but if you smoke and don't like the remainders of smoking in your home, this is the only product for you. If you find the right distibutor, they will let you try it before you buy it. It's that good.

I forgot to mention, spraying products around the home is a chemical. Do you really want to release chemicals in the air you and your family breathe? I don't. I also want to say that 1 unit covers a 3000 sq ft home.

Fortunatelly I do not have a problem like this, because we do not, and did not smoke. From the wall with repainting, I think. From the furnitures with steam cleaner. (Karcher cleaner I mean) hm?

For walls:mix once up of vinegar with two cups of warm water and a spoon of baking soda, wipe the walls down with this with a sponge, it will be gross lol. Sometimes you have to repaint your walls after cleaning, they get this weird tint to them. For furniture, rub baking soda on them, set overnight, and vacuum it off. Good luck!

I have moved to an apartment where people had smoked a lot but since I donĀ“t smoke and nobody else smokes when they visit my home, the smell disappears rather fast. I heard a suggestion how to remove smell of mould from your house of course after the source of it is removed. You can put a bowl of seasalt in the rooms and that is supposed to help. I wonder if it would help with the smoke smell too. No harm in testing, salt is very cheap. I have a saltlamp that is for cleaning the air, at least it is beautiful and I think the air is fresher than before.
