Wealthtoolbox.com - A Rant

okay..i'm including my little soapbox icon to warn y'all that I'm on a rant once again. this is pretty much exactly the same as a response I made in another discussion about wealthtool box but I wanted to bring it more to the front to see if it would bring out someone who has actually been involved with this site for more than 2 years and GOTTEN REAL MONEY from them. My rant about wealthtoolbox.com:Just because the webpage tells you you've earned that much; doesn't mean that you are going to get anything. If you go to the fine print, you'll see that you don't get paid for 2 years. And think about it.. it's the stock market. Who's to say that in 2 years ther isn't going to be a loss and in the end you (or we rather since I was silly enough to sign up for it before I really looked into it) are going to end up owing them money????

thanks for sharing this. i also signed up, and it's nice to see my money growing every few days or so. it was free to join, anyway, so i thought, what is there to lose, right? i'm worried, though, about your last statement that we could end up owing them money. how do you think is this possible?

it just seems to me that if the stock goes up and our money goes up... if the stocks go down our money is going to go down. I was just thinking if it goes down below 0 are we going to be responsible for the money lost...

The only information they get out of you when you sign up is your email address so even if that happens there is no way they can get your money. They don't have your social security number, birthdate, bank account number or anything else. I wouldn't worry about it. If the stock goes down and they try to say we owe them there is no way for them to actually get any money out of you. If we have to we report them to the Better Business Bureau or rip-offreport.com I wouldn't worry about it too much if I were you. :)

OMG! They are basically saying that they aren't going to pay. They probably won't be in business in two years because I just bet there will be some law that comes out putting an end to that sort of thing if you do business in the USA. It reminds me of e-gold. You can get your money out but the actual amount is based on the prices in the gold market, atleast that is what I read on a business site that was talking about payment processors. I looked at signing up for a couple of online gigs but they INSIST on using e-gold. Needless to say, I didn't sign up with them.

i checked the site when there was a discussion about this site by a member here.i cant believe that we are paid for doing nothing.that too after 2 years just for our email address.so i hesitated to join though it is free. But i dont think that we will owe them if the stock goes down.because we haven't provided any contact address to them.so we will not be paid at the end of 2 years if the stock goes down.we have to wait and see about the happenings.

i wouldnt be worrying a lot about this.even if the stocks go down what have we to loose?they dont have any of our information and there is no way they are pulling off money from us.i am not sure whether it ll work out at the end of two years but i am keeping my fingers crossed and being optimistic.even if it $10 dollars at the end of 2 years it is a profit right.i wouldnt be too worried about the site as we dont have to do any work there or waste time there.

Wow no wonder your ranting. Just this morning I was on another site and someone said something about joining this site. I told them I would check this site out later but I never did. (because I forgot and this is nothing new for me) But anyway Im glad you had this little rant because I wont bother with it. So I thank you for the warning.

I don't really think that the company is even two years old and I know that my two years is not up until 2008. I will have to wait until then to find out how this all will work but I am pretty sure that I will not make any money off of them. I don't worry about owing them any money as when you sign up you don't give them any personal information so they really have no way of collecting from you. If somehow this is genuine then I guess that we will all have made or loss a little free money.

I signed up for this in December and my account has grown quite a bit. Since it is free anyway it doesn't matter to me whether or not we actually get the money. I didn't put my own money into it so I don't care. Sure it will be nice if I get the money but I never got my hopes up about it in the first place because I don't know what will happen. I just figured since it is free then why not try it. You've got nothing to lose. Just my opinion. :)

I read the fine print too and I am cluelsess to what the program is exactly and why they would be giving away literally millions of dollars when everything is said and done. I signed up, but I am not promoting it. I think it would be a waste of time and energy. I'm just going to keep it on the back burner for the next 2 years.

I attempted to get signed up in this program but felt reluctant because I didn't understand it and, moreover, I wasn't convinced about its genuity. Please, can anyone assure me of it?

It's Ok to give it a trial, afterall there's no payment for it. That was the thought that came to my mind the day i signed up for it. I'm not even giving it any priority promotion, but who knows, supposing at the end of 2 years, which mine says Feb. 2009, they actaully pay, then it' ll be worth it, and if they don't i have lsot nothing just trying out.
