I'm currently reading Stainless Longanisa by: Bob Ong. Bob Ong is quite famous here in the Philippines. And I'm proud I'm a fan of his works. Sad to say, I haven't finished reading it coz I usually kill my time surfing on babycenter.com on pregnancy and some sites on digiscrapping. I have a lot of pending books waiting to be read and I'm trying to work on my reading. Some of my books like Chronicles of Narnia and some Nicholas Sparks books are still covered and sealed. Hahaha!

I'm currently reading Nick Joaquin's Tropical Gothic. It's a short story collection by a master of the short story genre. His words are mesmerizing and his stories are compellingly sublime.

I have a Nick Joaquin book before. I bought it because we need it for a book review at school. I forgot the title. I'm not sure if it's The Woman with Two Navels ... because I also have a Bienvenido Santos book. I might try buying what you're reading right now. Thanks for sharing.

this post reminded me..that I have totally deserted my reading habits..because as I was trying to look for an answer, i just realized that I have yet to finished the book i started two weeks ago which is "When God writes your love story". I guess I have to get back into reading again. Maybe because I was shifted into doing logic puzzles this last few weeks..anyway..thanks jayzanne for reminding me..:)

I too have a stack of books waiting for me to read. I am reading the book Believing God by Beth Moore. I received the book in the mail free of charge from the Billy Graham website. THey offer different free books each month. I am on a tight budget so it really helps when I find a book sale such at a library or find free books online. I am also reading at night the Chronicles of Narnia and have just started the 3rd book of the series.

Currently I'm reading Annie Proulx's That Old Ace in the Hole. And I always have a stack of books waiting for me.

i'm currently reading "Expecting Miracles" its a book i gave my husband for christmas. its about the different experiences and stories of couples who had difficulty in conceiving... the stories i was able to read all had happy-endings. its such an inspiring book for me especially during this time of trial :)

yeah, i have to say that Bob Ong's books are way cool. heheh. he's a funny writer, very crafty indeed. I also like books by Nicholas Sparks, simple plot but the writng style hypnotizes the reader to finish it. But the thing is, books are quite expensive in the Philippines. That's why i usually go to Booksale when i wanted to buy some books. It's just hard to look for famous titles because all the books are put together in a tall shelf and you just have to look yourself. but when i get too lucky, i get to buy good books four to five times lower than the original ones. heheh.
