Which side of the bed do you prefer, men? women?

If you were standing at the foot of your bed looking at it, which side right or left do you sleep on?? My mom and I are both left siders. I just wonder what your preference is and what decides it? My mom said that she likes my dad to be closest to the door in case of intruder, but I am closer to the door or I feel claustrophobic. I could never sleep on the inside against a wall.. aaaahh.. I was just wondering how you pick your spot?

i prefer to sleep on the right side of the bed (or anywhere farther from the wall) because i feel more comfortable in this position. and because i won't disturb my husband when i get up, since i get to wake up earlier to prepare his things for the day.

Thanks for the interesting question. In my last relationship, I generally slept on the left side of the bed and he took the right. But I really don't know why that was. We just sort of fell into that cycle.

I cant sleep against a wall too, I prefer to sleep close to the window so I can sleep well.

I prefer the middle, or somewhere against the wall, I always roll off the bed off a side that doesn't have something against it. I like to keep snuggled up under the mountain of blankets with my husband, makes us feel safe, nice and cozy. Otherwise, either side is fine with me

My husband always goes to bed before I do so I just get in bed on whichever side he isn't on at the moment. He's constantly moving while he sleeps so more often than not he is in the middle of the bed when I go in there. If that's the case I just go to whichever side the dogs aren't on. If one is on each side I pick the little one up and move her up beside me or my husband and steal her side.

I just finished reading another post in which the poster stated which i found to be true that men will sleep on the side closest to the door. And after thingking abotu i do the same thing if in hotel or motel will take bed closest to the door and in everyplace i have ever slept that i can remmmber it was the side closest tot he door.
