I use to live in an Adult Family Home that cared for the elderly and my sister lived nearby. I had been to visit her and was coming home well after dark. That morning, before I left, there was a bear drinking from the pond in the front yard so, naturally, I was looking for wildlife along the way. When I pulled in to my very long driveway -- my heart nearly stopped!! There, walking across the driveway in front of me was this HUGE creature! Of course, I imeadiatly thought of Bigfoot as I watched it swing it's huge arms. Then I realized that it was, in fact, the reflection of my headlights on an oscillating sprinkler! I felt like a complete fool ( a very relieved complete fool).

I would have peed my pants, I am so sure. Boy I'll bet your heart nearly stopped. I probably would have driven straight into the house in my panic..lol Beware the wet and wild bigfoot.. that's a good one.

All I could think of was -- How am I going to get into the house before it gets me?! Then, when I realized that it was just a sprinkler, I thought, "How am I going to live this down? Because I know that I won't be able to keep my big mouth shut and I will have to tell everyone." And, sure enough, I'm telling everyone! Thanks for the response!

Ha ha ha. That was funny. I am also afraid of dark sometimes especially if I can see a form or figure.

I'm always thinking that I see something in the road as I drive. There is a lot of wildlife in this area but that was a bit of a shock! I'm glad it was just a sprinkler! Thanks for the response!
