Processor War... AMD or INTEL?

which is the best processor? AMD or INTEL? for me i prefer AMD processors, although AMD has never even came close to producing what intel has produced. many gamers like me like AMD processors why is this? it is quite simple. gamers look for power which AMD provides splendidly but don't need any of the extras. whether you are paying for the name or just looking to go out and purchase a computer for your needs then maybe AMD wouldn't be so bad.

So for i think INTEL would be better this kinda is a great thing 2 processors and neither one is greater than the other well that depends on the way its going to be used price will matter on this kind of war. Well thats what i think

I fell AMD has become a great contender and a good alternative to intel which ruled the processer businnes until a few years back, AMD comes close to Intel in many performance parameters and surpasses it in a few, AMD comes for a few bucks cheaper than Intel. AMD is a good value for money and packs a good punch.

I have an Intel processor but in most of the computer magazines I have read that AMD is better than Intel in certain aspects.

i prefer AMD since i am using one.I use AMD because --comparatively cheap --high performance --high stabilty --greater support for gaming i recommned AMD FX 64 bit computing.It has many advantage over intel pentium 4 processors.but i heard that intel pentium duo core2 is much better than other precedures and a like performance with AMD 64.so i f you are going to buy a new computer either you go for AMD FX 64 or Pentium 4 Duo core 2. thank you!

i am with you man i am a gammer too and even i have an amd processor i know wat the processor is really capable of and that's why i like amd processors

as far as i know amd has been the best in7 3d gaming as well as performance . i had amd 2400+ i buy itb 4 yrs back and it is working perfectly fine and more than intel3.06 ghz

Well lately with intel's new release of the core 2 duo, I think they are better than AMD, until AMD releases some new architecture for their processors.

AMD is such a nice company but Intel is a brand name that every one knows.
