The last book I read was Deception Point by Dan Brown. It was interesting, but not as good as his other stories. My favourite book of his is still The Da Vinci Code. I'm currently re-reading Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. I've read it so many times and watched a lot of the films made about it (including the Leonardo DiCaprio one!) I can never get enough of it, I think it's the greatest love story ever. Another book I would recommend people read is Birdsong by Sebastien Faulks. It's set in World War 1 and is just so profound.

I just finished reading "Jack the Ripper, Case Closed" by Patricia Cornwell. It's an interesting read, and gave me some historical information on the case that I hadn't known about before. However, I am not sure whether I agree with her conclusion on the identity of the killer... she puts forth some pretty tenuous theories, then other theories that depend on those on top of that. Entertaining, though, as I really enjoy reading about forensic science.

I recently finished Empire Falls by Richard Russo and loved it. The characters were compelling, and it started out seeming almost a slow paced slice-of-life kind of story, but then took some amazing twists and turns at the end. I'm currently reading You Suck by Christopher Moore. It's something completely different than the types of books I usually read, but I'm loving it. It is off-beat, irreverent and has made me laugh out loud more than once, something I never expected from a vampire story!

Most recently I finished: Quantum Touch: The Power To Heal by Richard Gordon Education and the Significance of Life by J. Krishnamurti and The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles. Seems strange all these are non-fiction since I usually read more fiction.
